I've picked up the guitar a couple of times since I posted this. I have to develop callouses on my fingertips again so that it doesn't hurt if I play for more than 5 minutes. I have another challenge now though - I got a nice little wasp sting on my left thumb and it's all swollen. Gripping the neck of the guitar isn't working too well...
